The Eagle Range: Our models: Meet the fleet
The Eagle 36 a true sailing experience
The Eagle 36 is a true daysailer inspired by the giant J-class racing yachts of the 1930s that are now enjoying an incredible revival. The stunning design measures 10.70 m in length and, with her 1.20 m draught, the Eagle 36 is suitable for inland and coastal waters. While the looks of an Eagle 36 on the water turn heads and capture hearts, the real excitement you are looking for can only be experienced when you are sailing yourself. Thanks to her long overhangs which lengthen the waterline when the Eagle 36 is slightly heeled, she is a surprisingly fast boat. Combined with the views over the teak deck and the sense of being close to the water, cruising on the Eagle 36 is an extraordinary experience. The Eagle 44, Past Meets Future
Leveraging on the successes booked and experience gained with the Eagle 36, Leonardo Yachts decided to take day sailing to the next level. The Eagle 44 is designed by Gerard Dykstra & Partners where the designers have reaped enormous experience with recent J-class projects such as Hanuman and Rainbow. And the lines plan is equally inspired by other famous racing Js of the 1930s. The use of modern materials and a modern keel shape has resulted in a beautiful day-sailer with an enormous cockpit. Practical functionality and stylish design meet throughout the Eagle 44, with a fine balance between the various materials, white panels, mahogany, teak, stainless steel and luxury fabrics. The Eagle 54
We are proud to present our latest model, the Eagle 54. The Eagle 54 is designed in close cooperation with Hoek design. Founded in 1986 by Andre Hoek, Hoek Design is one of the world’s leading offices for naval architecture. The 54 will offer the same spacious cockpit as the Eagle 44, but where the Eagle 44 is a true daysailer, the 54 will provide more for a longer stay onboard. Needless to say that with size comes more speed and comfort. As you would expect from Leonardo Yachts no compromises on beauty and elegance were made in the design. The 54 has elegant, classic lines combined with modern features and a modern underwater ship.Eagle 44 - DEMO FOR LEONARDO YACHTS IS NOW FOR SALE
This blue hull Eagle 44 is a 13.3-meter, fast daysailer with classic lines designed by J-class specialist Dykstra Naval Architects. Her long overhangs gives the yacht an elegant look and with the use of modern materials and a modern keel the Eagle 44 is fast. The large open cockpit features optional electric winches that can be controlled from the helmsman’s position making single- handed sailing possible. The interior features a double bed and electric toilet. A shower can be used in the cockpit or on the aft deck. Requiring very little maintenance, owners will be able to use the yacht for her true purpose: Sailing as sailing is meant to be. Eagle 44: BREATHTAKING.
